In State Cup play on Saturday, FC Phoenix Kaos dropped a 0-3 decision to LOSC Defeeters. Kaos plays next Sunday vs WSM Force, who will face Defeeters next Saturday. The best outcome to get Kaos through to the Semifinals would be a Kaos win following a Force loss or tie vs Defeeters. If Force wins Saturday, then Kaos wins, all three will be at 1-1-0 and goal difference will be considered. If Force ties Saturday, then Kaos ties, Kaos is done. A loss also eliminates Kaos.

On Sunday, Valkyrie downed FC Willamette Premier, 2-0 on goals by Wilhelm and Storey. Valkyrie now assues advance with a win or tie vs WSM Rebels next Saturday regardless of Rebels outcome with FCW next Sunday. Valkyrie could even remain alive with a loss, if Rebels beats or ties FCW, though that would be the least desirable manner for advancing.

Training for Kaos and Valkyrie this week will be Weds Thurs, 5:30 pm at Colver - I will be available for GKs for both sessions.
