In 1985, led by the organizational efforts of two senior girls playing on the boys' team, a girls' game was organized between Phoenix and Grants Pass. The Cavers won 4-1. 2005 is the 20th anniversary of that match. To celebrate that effort, and the contributions of all the girls who played for Phoenix before Phoenix had a team for them, we will be honoring the players from that first game, and the girls who played on the boys team prior to the first girls' season in the fall of 1989.

We are trying to find the following former Phoenix HS Students. I am not certain whether those listed after '86 actually graduated on time or at Phoenix, but as of their time of participation in Phoenix Soccer on or before fall of 1985, these were their scheduled graduation dates. Those with (-) after their names are those we have no information on as of this first post. Four have been emailed via Classmates.com, one is known and has been contacted directly, and one has a brother who I've worked with off and on in the past decade.

UPDATE - Thanks to Jennifer Dater (Watson), who scanned and forwarded yearbook pages from the 87 and 88 seasons after Mandy Heiss (Wright) contacted her. That gave me three new names - Kelly K, Jennifer F and Tara M - now added to the main list)
