This Page is to document the
construction of some DIY corner Bass traps. The design is original
(though not exactly ingenious) using information gathered from
various websites and forums. This is mainly an experiment to see
just how inexpensively a set of effective traps can be
built.
I had a loose idea of what needed to be
done and that was enough for me. The plan was to make two corner
traps out of wood, each 2'x4' and 4" deep. The center would be
filled with insulation and compressed then covered in
fabric. Since this was a bodge job I started by making the
frames the size I wanted. I would fit the design into this frame
later as I needed.
Good clean 45's
Make your joints as clean as possible and use a countersink
for the best results.
Cross brace added.
