A JAG Thanksgiving - A short stand alone story that takes place midway through season 9.  The JAG family gets together to share the holiday.

Shades of Gray - Harm and Mac race against the clock to solve a mystery at the Joint Defense Space Research Facility near Alice Springs, Australia.  This is a serious JAG story - complete with plot.  (I know - it's a shock.  Deal with it.)

Part 1        Part 2        Part 3        Part 4

Midnight Confessions - Fluff is what you want?  Fluff you say?  Well then, you've come to the right place.  If you're looking for substance, this definitely isn't the story for you.  It's short too, very short.  Oh, and did I mention fluff?  Think cotton candy...

Dawn - You like fluff, you say?  Fine, then here's more of the same.  Dawn is the sequel to "Midnight Confessions."  It originally posted to the lists as "Dawn Awakenings."  No gagging now, folks.  I know it's a terrible title.  Why do you think I changed it, hmmm?  This one is also short, but not quite as "don't blink or you'll miss it" short as its predecessor.

Twitterpated - This story doesn't really belong under either heading, but I was afraid it'd be lonely if I made it sit on a page all by itself.  It's a 100 word flashfic, written after the end of season 9, but too short to contain any spoilers.

Flashpoint - This is a serious JAG story.  Long on action, angst, and drama, with a dash of romance thrown in to sweeten the pot.  Flashpoint is based on a historical event, but leans heavily on creative license to bring the event into the JAG universe.

Part 1    Part 2    Part 3    Part 4    Part 5    Part 6    Epilogue

Flying High - Harm and Mac on opposite sides of a drug trafficking case.  JAG story with fun and romance thrown in for good measure.  This story features cameo appearances by the characters of N.C.I.S.  By the way, are you wondering why this website features rubber ducks?  Read on...

Part 1    Part 2    Part 3    Part 4    Part 5    Part 6    Part 7    Part 8

Match Point - It's a classic case of the little story that grew.  Match Point started as a simple episode reaction piece (you'll find it listed in the episode reaction section as well as here) to the ninth season episode "Trojan Horse."  Readers, however, demanded to find out what happened next.  The result was a six part story that started out reasonably in character and turned into pure AU fluff.  It's silly, fun, romantic, and completely unrealistic.  If you're looking for some of what Captain so aptly calls "brain candy," come on in and take a look.  *Note*  Part 1 can stand on its own, as a simple episode reaction piece.  The fluff doesn't kick in until part 2.

Part 1    Part 2    Part 3    Part 4    Part 5    Part 6

Lost and Found - Episode 2 of the 2004 Virtual Season.  One of JAG's own is a passenger on a helicopter that crashes in the mountains.  During the ensuing rescue, some things that were lost are found again.

Part 1    Part 2    Part 3    Part 4    Part 5    Part 6

The Cost of Courage - Harm and Mac stumble upon a homeless man with a heartbreaking secret.  Episode 4 of the 2004 Virtual Season.

Part 1    Part 2    Part 3    Part 4

Tabula Rasa - This vignette isn't really tied to any particular episode, but it's supposed to fit the mood of early season 10. Harm and Mac reach an understanding.  This short piece is not meant to solve all their problems - not by a long shot.  Rather it was written in the hope that our heroes might be ready to leave the past behind.

Momentary Magic - Short, warm, fuzzy, and totally unrealistic.  Its only purpose in life is to give you a reason to smile.

Rate of Return - This is one of those stories that could fit in either category, so I'm going to put it in both.  It's a short story that takes place after, and relies heavily upon, Four Percent Solution.  That said, it isn't strictly an episode reaction piece, either.  Confused?  Read on...

Soaring Free - Finally, the long awaited sequel to "Flying High" is here.  Harm and Mac deal with wedding plans, a blast from Mac's past, and a mysterious plane crash.

Part 1     Part 2     Part 3     Part 4     Part 5     Part 6     Part 7     Epilogue

Fate's Price - Harm and Mac deal with the repercussions of one fateful night at McMurphy's Tavern. (Episode 1 of the 2005 Virtual Season)

Part 1     Part 2     Part 3     Part 4     Part 5

Growing Pains - This short little futurefic is what happened when I decided to take a stab at responding to my own challenge.  Hopefully, it'll make you smile.

Scout's Honor - Take a group of precocious 6 year olds, some bugs, and a sprinkling of glitter.  Stir well, bake in the summer sun, and watch out for alligators.  (Episode 4 of the 2005 Virtual Season, co-written with Ann)

Part 1     Part 2     Part 3     Part 4     Part 5

Educating Daddy - This 150 word bit of silliness resulted when a real story I was working on got stubborn.

Peace - Just a single scene that popped into my head in response to my own challenge on the Fic Recon board at Voy.  Harm and Mac have someplace to go – or do they?

Hobson's Choice - Harm and Mac have retired from military life and settled in a quiet community in the mountains of Virginia.  They plan to live out their days surrounded by friendly people and beautiful scenery, free from the stress of their hectic prior lives.  Unfortunately, fate has other plans.

Course Correction - Written for the JAG ficathon, provides one possible answer to the following prompt:  A different ending to Adrift - one where Mac makes a decision to be honest with herself AND MIC, and sticks to it.  And Harm realizes what he wants after his near-death experience.

The Ties That Bind - Written for the 2006 Christmas ficathon, for Deemus, who said, "I'd like to see a story with Harm and Mac, a cozy fire, some doughnuts and hot spiced cider, and serious discussion about families. Some gifts might also be exchanged...."
