I Started in this hobby in 1988

I have used many different types of equipment over the years.

I have and still use Jerry Dahl's OFS WeatherFAX Card and Software

Also Quorum Communications's TS-137 APT Antenna, Linear Feed for TVRO Dish, SDC-1691CWP WEFAX Downconverter, WEFAX Explorer Card and QFax Software.

I have built several receiving antennas including a ground plane TR array which is still in service today. I have built one of Paul's PHQFH antennas. I have three surplus TVRO dishes, 12 Foot(3.6meter) , 10 Foot (3meter) and a 6 Foot (1.8meter). WEFAX is aquired on the 10 Foot (3meter) dish.

I recently started using Dave Taylor's SatSignal and I'm very impressed. I use WxSAT ver. 2.5 to record the wave file and SatSignal to process it.

I have several receivers including, RIG RX2, Quorum, Dartcom Synthesized Receiver, and a couple of old Vangaurd Labs receivers.

I have been a member of RIG for several years and belong to both rig-l and Wxsat mailing lists.
