Nightwing   (Snowbank Farm  2001) Male by Gander out of Mrs Bently by Euclase

This magnificent stallion was the foundation of our stable.  His big winnings in our inaugural racing season set the groundwork for our future success.  Obtained as an unraced three year old via auction, he was a championship caliber stayer who was very dangerous from 10 to 16 furlongs on both dirt and turf.  Stud Information

Career Record:  46-11-13-5  $6,653,000

War Machine   (Snowbank Farm  2003) Male by Curule out of Mystic Lady by Thunder Gulch

2006 Triple Crown and Eclipse Award winner.  With a record of 12-11-0-1, War Machine set a single season earnings mark of $11,100,000.  Blessed with outstanding endurance, blinding speed, and breathtaking acceleration, he was a superstar in every sense of the word.   When he was in top form, there were none better.  Stud Information

Career Record:  35-19-2-5  $12,636,000

Shattered Record   (Snowbank Farm  2004) Female by Black Shatter out of Lady's Secret by Secretariat

Shattered Record was comfortable on all surfaces and distances of 8-12 furlongs are her strength.  She has shown to be a tough competitor.  The 2008 season was her last on the track.  She has become a broodmare for Otsego Farms and she is initially scheduled to pair with Nightwing.  Half-sister to the legendary Dansilver.

Career Record:  32-8-9-3  $1,206,175

Doomsday   (Endless Vista Stud Farm  2004) Male by Play Station out of Camena by Snippets

Half-brother to champion sprinter All for Camena, Doomsday has begun to show a preference for 8 furlongs or less.  He excels on both grass and dirt.  Very tough fighter with blinding acceleration.  Likes to run at the front of the pack.  Snaps back quickly after racing.

Career Record:  24-4-7-3  $1,005,000

Big Easy  (Snowbank Farm 2004) Male by Easy Goer out of Foresta by Alydar

Excels on both turf and dirt.  This chestnut male will run almost exclusively at 8 furlongs in 2009, which will be his last year on the track.  Acquired via auction to race his final season, then join War Machine and Nightwing in the stud barn at Otsego Farms.

Career Record:  35-13-15-4  $3,868,400

Shadowcat   (Endless Vista Stud Farm  2004) Female by The Wicked North out of Brief Embrace by Irgun

Shadowcat is comfortable on all surfaces and appears to be courageous and consistent.  A stalker who breaks well, she preferred races under 8 furlongs, but had the lungs to go farther.  Will join Shattered Record as a broodmare for 2009.  Vampirical from Spartan Stables will be her first stud.

Career Record:  15-1-3-1  $36,825

Union Jack   (Endless Vista Stud Farm  2005) Colt by Portsmouth out of Dragon Flyer by Tagula

We continue to be very excited by what we see in this fellow.  He is best on turf but does not shy from dirt, and is very hardy and consistent.  He likes to hang in mid-pack, then blow by the competition with an incredible burst of speed.  Union Jack has tremendous endurance and will primarily concentrate on 10-12 furlongs, although he may stretch to 16.

Career Record:  18-8-3-3  $2,724,350

Nova   (Otsego Farms 2005) Filly by Housebuster out of Raging Fever by Storm Cat

This filly has speed in her genetics.  Her sire and dam were both speedsters with tremendous heart.  Nova prefers the dirt and distances in the 6-7 furlong range.  We continue to be very excited about our first homebred.  Nova displayed great speed in 2008.  Will vie for 2009 Sprinter of the Year.

Career Record:  21-6-8-2  $1,125,750

Monsoon (Woodbury Stables 2005) Filly by Storm Cat out of Kazzia by Zinaad

Monsoon was acquired from FDL Lodge.  Purchased primarily as a future broodmare, but has had some success this year on the track.  Good on both surfaces and at distances from 5-8 furlongs.  We think she has great promise in the breeding shed.  Matched with Predator in 2009.

Career Record:  17-1-3-2  $137,250

King of the Sea  (Thunder Lodge 2005) Colt by King Midas out of Sea Of Streets by Red Anchor

King of the Sea was an auction purchase from Thunder Lodge.  He has good speed and prefers 8-12 furlongs on dirt, although he will be tested on turf periodically.  King of the Sea has tremendous ability and we suspect his 4yo season will be very successful.

Career Record:  19-4-3-3  $705,050

Kid Flash   (Otsego Farms 2006) Colt by Our Differences out of Change of Scenery by Aly's Alley.

Our second homebred, Kid Flash has all the tools.....speed, toughness, acceleration, surface flexibility, and consistency.  Looks most comfortable at 8 or less furlongs, but may lengthen a bit as he matures.  We are very confident that Kid Flash will turn some heads in the future.

Career Record:  8-1-2-3  $182,400

Emeritus   (Yeguada Lore Toki 2006) Colt by Octagonal Waltz out of Awabuy by Memo.

Emeritus is a little slow out of the gate and likes to trail the field.  We feel that Emeritus will eventually run almost exclusively at 10 furlongs.  He will have a heavier race schedule this year.  Hopefully he will be mature and will show some ability on the track.

Career Record:  5-0-0-0  $5,000

Firefighter   (Horizon Farm 2006) Colt by Bellbuster out of Rosa's Comment by Editor's Note.

This fellow was immature in 2008, so he was raced very sparingly.  We are very happy with his progress however.  He has the look of a sprinter and has all of the strengths that should help him succeed in that role.

Career Record:  2-0-0-0  $0

Lady Katherine   (Horizon Farm 2006) Filly by Crown Prince out of Kissing Kate by Ferdinand.

This filly is a straight-up dirt sprinter with tremendous speed, great acceleration, and the ability to get out of the gate like a rocket.  She has shown a propensity for nagging little injuries, so we'll treat her with kid gloves.

Career Record:  6-1-1-1  $64,000

Mister Fantastic  (Otsego Farms 2007) Colt by Dayjur out of Exotic Wood by Rahy.

Good on both grass and dirt, this bay colt likes classic distances.  He has quite a bit of ability and our trainers are very optimistic about his future.  He is maturing slowly so he will not race often early in 2009.

Career Record:  0-0-0-0  $0

Night Thrasher  (Otsego Farms 2007) Colt by Nightwing out of Different by Candy Stripes.

Maturing quickly, this son of Nightwing will hit the track early in 2009.  Rather than inheriting the incredible stamina of his sire, Night Thrasher appears to have the makings of a multi-surface sprinter.

Career Record:  0-0-0-0  $0

Big Slick  (Pointgiven Stables 2007) Colt by Troll Tower out of Charon by Mo Exception.

Looks and runs like a stayer.  Doesn't have many weaknesses, except he's not fond of carrying a lot of weight.  Big Slick displays good acceleration, speed, consistency, surface flexibility and toughness.  We have big hopes for this fellow.

Career Record:  0-0-0-0  $0

Dragon Force  (Jersey Shore Stables 2007) Filly by Crown Prince out of Dragon Flyer by Tagula

Our trainers state that Dragon Force will be slow to mature so she will probably not race until very late in the year.  She is a strong, healthy filly who has the look of a sprinter.  Has looked a bit inconsistent in training.

Career Record:  0-0-0-0  $0
