Kathryn Kaye
Kathryn Kaye of Richland is a professional artist who conducts a limited number of workshops throughout the Northwest each year. She has been painting for more than 30 years. Her work has won numerous awards and has been purchased by collectors and corporations. She owned and operated Studio K Gallery in Richland. Her paintings currently are shown at her home studio. She paints in all media, but is best known for her watercolors. She attended Western Washington University and San Francisco University and has continued her art education with independent study.
Simple, familiar forms with an uncomplicated palette describe how I perceive the world around me. My floral and still life paintings are the result of personal feelings about ordinary objects. Nature has influenced the composition of my landscape paintings. I'm most satisfied when painting a peaceful "place to be".
