Prairie Coffeehouse

Prairie Coffeehouse offers live, acoustic music in the smoke-free, alcohol-free fellowship hall at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser, Wisconsin (near DeForest). There is no cover charge. We rely upon freewill donations for performers and refreshments. Our first coffeehouse was September 17, 2005 featuring Eric Hester.

We encourage a listening atmosphere and offer coffee, decaf, tea, lemonade, homemade baked goods and other snacks.

We will survey at each event to best gauge the musical tastes of our audience. In our first two seasons, we have featured mostly singer/songwriters and some country musicians from the Madison area.

From time to time, we will bring in a performer with a national reputation. Most likely we will have to charge for these special events which will be held on an evening separate from our usual third Saturday of the month.
