Pastor Sylvia Lee-Thompson has been serving Spring Prairie since July 2007. She is a graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. She and her husband, Chris Lee-Thompson (pastor of Hope Lutheran Church on the east side of Madison), live in the 100+ year-old parsonage. Pastor Sylvia’s grandfather, Rev. C.G. Naeseth, was pastor at Spring Prairie from 1919 to 1954 and her mother grew up here. Sylvia and Chris have two grown sons, Peter and Michael, who live out of state.
