Consultant:

On site support at InterContinental Hotels Group since January 2000:
Windows and Exchange Lead Technical Advisor. Responsible for over 150 NT servers in twenty domains. Designed, developed, and administered intranet site for onsite personnel and offsite help desk. Continued development of Perl-based administration tools. Managed server backups using CA ArcServe 6.61, then was primary operations representative on project that migrated to Unix-integrated backups using Veritas NetBackup. Server hardware consists almost entirely of rack-mounted HP Proliants and HP BladeSystems. Most newer servers are SAN connected. Back Office applications in use include Citrix MetaFrame, IIS, MS Exchange 5.5 and 2003, Lotus Domino, MS SQL. Servers are running Windows 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003. Changed 26,000 email addresses and display names using Perl script in April 2003. Currently managing migration from Windows NT/Exchange 5.5 environment to Active Directory/Exchange 2003 using Aelita/Quest tools. Designed security delegation model for new AD domain. Installed AD, WINS, DNS, and Exchange 2003 on servers worldwide. Primary point of contact for global Exchange team.

Previously, on site support at Equifax from 1997 through January 2000:
Windows NT Administrator. Responsible for 40 NT 4.0 servers in a multiple domain model, IIS servers, migration of users towards a single domain model, development of Web-based Perl administration tools, KIX32-based logon scripts, WinBatch software deployment, server backup using Veritas NetBackup. Finished Banyan migration. Server hardware predominantly consists of HP NetServers and Compaq Proliants.

Previously, was chief troubleshooter and Technical Lead for Deskside Support teams at multiple locations. Responsibilities included Windows NT and Lotus Notes end-user support. Set up new Windows 95 and NT workstations. Developed tools using WinZip, WinBatch, Partition Magic, Drive Image, and other software to automate installations and upgrades. Migrated users from Banyan / Token Ring environment to Windows NT/Lotus Notes / Ethernet. Key member of five-person team that won full outsourcing contract. Implemented standards for desktop systems.
