United continue winning ways!

A sharp Danbury team defeated Colchester on Sunday 6-0 in the first contest of group play for the 2005 CT Over 30 Cup.  .  (Updated 19-May-05)

 

United off to a good start:

The team moved to 2-0-1 with a well deserved but, in the end, nervous win at Ridgefield.  After opening away at Waterford with a remarkable 1-0 win, and drawing with Westport last Sunday, the team has picked up where we left off last year.  Will Orben made his official debut with the team and played a strong game in midfield.  The team will play its first cup game of the season at home on Sunday against Colchester.  (Updated 10-May-05)

 

Danbury United Get Ready for New Season:

According to team Manager, Manny Cipriano, the team will kick off its season on April 24th away against the very talented Waterford team.  The team had its first scrimmage on April 10th against Ridgefield.  The Danbury turnout was not as strong as Manny would have liked, but the teams had a very productive scrimmage – Thanks Ridgefield for setting this up!

Manny is working on another scrimmage for this weekend and we’ll have our official first practice next Thursday at the PCC.
