The peripheral drawings were done in ink on a couple of white paper shopping bags (from 'Lazarus" Dept. store in Cincinnati) while watching the first gulf war on T.V. Only two are literal images of the conflict: top right, plane; lower left, anti-aircraft fire over Baghdad. Other favorites and glued them where they seemed to 'fit'
