The original owner John
Miller was forty years old when he ordered his new car at Schaffer Pontiac,
Racine, Wisconsin. Miller must have been a performance minded person, ordering
four-speed, 3:23 posi-traction, quick ratio manual steering, and heavy-duty
radiator. Miller owned the car until about ten years ago when the second owner
Brian Gahart purchased the car. When Gahart purchased the car it was an eighty
thousand mile, un-restored survivor, always adult owned. Brian then started the
frame off restoration he carefully took the car apart and restored the frame and rebuilt the
motor to stock specifications. He kept all the records and receipts on the
motor and restoration parts he purchased.
