Hello I'm Joe, from Montreat, North Carolina. Montreat is in the western part of the state, and has a population around 2000. The elevation here is around 2570 feet above sea level. The highest mountain in the eastern USA, (Mt. Mitchell) is just 20 miles to the North East of my home. I'm 49 years old, and a machinist.
I've been fooling with radios, since the early 70's.
I joined the Alfa Tango group in June of 1993, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have managed to work 230 divisions, and have 219 of these confirmed. I hope to work you soon.
Some of my hobbies are; of course Radios ( 11 meters),
coin collecting, computers, and mountain biking. Lots of nice bicycle & hiking trails in the area. So come for a visit. Bring your bike,if you have one; If not the boys & I will show you some of the nice trials for hiking.
