[4] Is the New England Sports Museum worth finding?

The peripatetic Sports Museum of New England is certainly worth finding. For several years it was located in the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall, near the Museum of Science -- Some of the neat baseball stuff included Armand LaMontagne's statue of Yaz, memorabilia, a "catch Roger Clemens" machine, and the Yawkey Room. Then it moved to Lowell, Mass, which we visited (see our1997  Sports Museum article).

In 2000 we visited the Sports Museum's handsome new home at the Fleet Center for the  debut party for A Red Sox Century.
As of February 2001, this was the best internet link we could find.

We believe the Museum still also has an extensive archive on Soldiers Field Road.
