John's YJ Wrangler Page
We Leased our 1989 Wrangler new. At the end of the lease, we were 15,000 Miles over the allowed milage, so it was cheaper to Purchase it outright than turn it in and pay the miles out. In 1994, we took our stock YJ on the French Lick Jeep Jamboree. I know, French Lick isn't supposed to be that difficult on the easier trails...but in 1994, it rained for at least a week before the jamboree and it was SLICK out there! Well, I connected with the guys from the Jeep Performance Center in Louisville Kentucky, and before you knew it, I was lifted with bigger tires. That was my downfall! Since then, the Wrangler (Affectionately known as "The Mistress") it's suffered happily through MANY Upgrades.
