Recently Mules and Moore had a dissatisfied customer after 45 years in business. The bought a horse they said they weren't satisfied with, we made every effort to rectify the situation including give them their money back in exchange for the horse. They didn't want to do this, They wanted to keep the horse and us give them part of their money back too, they did not buy this horse sight unseen. They threatened to ruin our reputation and posted on ripoffreports.com. We feel that ripoffreports.com is a rip-off as we contacted them and they told us they could remove it for a specified sum. We didn't succumb to their treachery.

We are saddened that anyone is not satisfied with our products or services, and will do anything within reason to make sure our customers are satisfied but we will not be BLACKMAILED. Our reputation speaks for itself

To Jack Moore, Mules and Moore

In August of 2009 My best friend Dee Dee and I rode from Maryland to Taylors SC to look at a carriage horse at Mules and Moore. After 50 years of riding almost daily sometimes 2 or 3 horses a day I was diagnosed with a disability that prevented me from riding. I needed a traffic safe driving horse and we had looked at and driven many horses without finding the right horse for me.

Jack and Gloria Moore were so gracious to us giving us a complete tour of the farm and the many buildings filled with beautiful equipment. Jack took us to a barn where Bo was and we got to see him harnessed and hitched and Jack took us for a drive to show us what Bo could do. Dee Dee and I both got to drive Bo on the busy road and around the farm. We were so thrilled that we bought him, a new harness that Jack fit especially for Bo, and a new forecart. When we got back home to Maryland we were so pleased with what we bought that we ordered another harness right away. That harness arrived in just a few days and I paid for it after we were satisfied it was just what we wanted. I decided to buy a second horse and Jack told me that Joe would be returning from carriage service and that the two horses had been driven together as a team and he would help us hitch and drive Bo and Joe as a team. I put a deposit on Joe and another horse Moe, sight unseen, so that I would have 3 horses to drive. I would never buy another horse to drive from anyone else..

I decided I wanted a carriage and called Jack and asked him to find one for me. Jack called me from the sale and bought just what I wanted. It was even more beautiful than I expected when I got it. So now I have 3 horses, 3 sets of harness, a forecart and a carriage from Mules and Moore'. I don't have a lot of money, but I have been a repeat customer because I felt that I received very fair treatment. My income goes to support equine and canine rescue on my small farm where I have lived for 26 years.

I've ridden hunters and jumpers, worked as a trail guide, galloped young race horses, gone to Portugal to ride Dusitano stallions in a classical dressage school and I am a level 1 Centered Riding Instructor. I have handled and ridden hundreds of horses. I know other customers in my area and we would never buy horses or equipment anywhere else. Jack has always been ready to help with any problem and I am looking forward to retuning to South Carolina this Fall for a driving clinic.

Sincerely,
