Burns
(Buckshot) Saint , a 1956 graduate of Russellville High School, has
lived in Russellville his entire life. He and his wife, Ann, have
been married 51 years. The couple has three daughters and nine
grandchildren. Saint has managed his building construction business
for more than 25 years. He is also an active member of Eastside
Missionary Baptist Church where he currently serves as a
deacon. In 45 years with the church, Saint has also served as church
treasurer, Sunday School Director and teacher. He also volunteered
for 25 years |
as
a pee-wee football coach in Youth League and served 28 years
with the National Guard where he retired as a Sergeant. He was
inducted in 2003 into the Franklin County Sports Hall of Fame.
Professionally, Saint has completed 40 credit hours of voluntary
classroom training in the operation of municipal government and is a
Certified Municipal Official. He currently serves on the finance
committee for the League
of Municipalities for the State of Alabama.
