Our children and their future
Our children's future and
well being is one of my greatest concerns. Keeping them active
in sports and other extracurricular activities is always a good
thing. I am pleased to hear the great ideas that are being put
on the table by our local candidates. I both encourage and
promise to support things like the proposed Skateboard park as
well as the Soccer field I am hearing about. This is the type of
initiative that is needed in our city government and the same
attitude that I will be promoting as City Councilman.
I believe that we have an obligation to create
opportunities for children of all backgrounds to become
successful. We need to promote positive activities and programs
for our youth that would develop their minds and encourage their
imaginations. Our
youth is our future and deserve safe, clean neighborhoods to
live, explore, and play in.
We must dedicate ourselves to investing in them so they
have the opportunity to discover their greatest talents. This is why I vow to vigorously support the Russellville City
School System. It is an enormous undertaking in molding the
hundreds of young minds that will some day be the future elected
officials and citizens of Russellville. It is to our advantage
to invest in Russellville's youth now in doing so, we will
secure a better Russellville for tomorrow.
