It is a state law in Alabama requiring
motorists to carry liability insurance. Many drivers carry no
insurance at all.Chances
are fourteen vehicles out of every one- hundred vehicles will
have no insurance coverage.Drivers who act responsibly and buy auto insurance
coverage are paying the price of uninsured motorists at alarming
rates.Alabama is
one of five states with the highest uninsured drivers.We need improved insurance verification programs to
combat this problem. I will work hard in getting an efficient
system in place that penalizes and discourages people from not
complying with the laws.
