Nolichucky Valley Rally July 31 - Aug 3, 2008 |
Welcome to the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. We consider ourselves very fortunate to live in an area so rich in natural beauty and OUTSTANDING sport touring roads. The small town of Erwin, TN is only a few miles from the cities of Johnson City and Asheville but seems much more remote when it comes to motorcycling fun. The roads in every direction are mountainous with constant elevation changes and curves ranging from big sweepers to plenty of tight and technical stretches that rival more (in)famous riding areas like Deal's Gap.
Many attendees from previous years have requested that the NVR be extended to allow more time to enjoy the great riding in this area. So, by popular demand, this year the HSTA Nolichucky Valley Rally becomes a four-day event scheduled for July 31- August 3. Ask anyone who's come to the NVR before, this is a fantastic area for "our kind" of riding. Join other HSTA members for great riding in the southern Appalachians!
