Bio of Elsie & Einstein.
This cam, showing "Elsie & Einstein", the Lake of the Ozarks Eagles is located in Central Missouri,USA. The cam is a Veilux VPIP-D127X Network IP PTZ Dome Security Camera mounted on a tree the same height as the nest tree, about 25' away.
This setup is right in our back yard and we sometimes have coffee with the eagles, and i usually will keep cam on the birds anywhere in their tree if i'm around. Otherwise it has preset events to check on their favorite limbs during the day.
Elsie & Einstein came to our location in august 2009 and built their 1st nest 150' north of their current location. 2010 they hatched 2 eaglets,, which only one survived into the early summer..Important Dates = 1st egg Feb 10th  first hatching march 17th, these dates may be a bit earlier than the canadian eagles due to our climate.
This year they moved their pad even closer,, about 80' from our back deck. Last year i had this cam on my roof and there were many branches between us and the eagles so i never broadcasted it live. See camera setup under Cam install @ top of the page.  "Kinda Hillbilly"

Timeline for Fall 2010 -Spring 2011

About mid august was the last time we seen their juvie "Ernie" sitting with Elsie on the same tree as the nests, he was at least 2" taller than Elsie!.  Einstein was squaking,, he thought it was time for the youngster to go.
Later in the month of august or maybe earlie sept i noticed the adult birds hanging out in the tree, here in front of the house,, as the leaves began to fall, i seen they were building a new nest. (YeHaw!)
About the 1st of november, they started the upper left nest,, there is a picture or video of this in the forums somewhere.
