This is the only storm we saw during our two weeks. It's over Belize City in the photo, but we got about three hours of light to moderate rain later in the evening.
Most evenings looked more like this. The sun set about 6:00 and watching the sunset each night became a ritual. There were some pretty spectacular ones!
There was pretty good wildlife to be seen. This osprey nest was only about one-quarter of a mile from the camp.

The ship on the horizon is a cruise ship sailing off into the sunset. Cruise ships regularly stop at Belize City for shopping and visiting the Mayan ruins. There are several interesting ruins in the area.
