Our trip to London October 20 -28, 2003

You can see the new millenium ferris wheel behind the Big Ben clock tower.

Here it is again. It's called the London Eye. It takes about 30 minutes to complete one revolution and it never stops. You get on and off while it moves slowly. Each "car" holds about 50 people, I think.

Jim checking out a French Horn at one of the antique stalls in Portobello Road.

Portobello Road is lined with shops selling a bit of everything, but especially all kinds of antiques. It was very crowded.

Walking back towards our hotel from Portobello road Saturday afternoon.

This is such a typical London scene.
