Schuler, Bruce J. Hemlock, Michigan Formerly of Frankenmuth Passed away Monday, September 24, 2007, after a lengthy illness, age 50 years. He was born April 15, 1957. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1975. He served with the US Navy for two years. He had been employed as a mechanic for several years, and also with the Mosquito Abatement programs in Midland and Tuscola Counties. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. Surviving are his three children and one granddaughter, Joshua Schuler and his wife, Yuko, and their daughter, Amber, all of Reese; Rebecca Schuler, Saginaw; Jonathan Schuler, Hemlock; his dear friend, June Leddy, Hemlock; her son, Michael Leddy and his wife, Libby, Saginaw; his mother, Florence Koch and her husband, Lawrence, Sebewaing; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Rhonda Schuler, Brent and Kay Schuler, Brady and Lori Schuler; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Schuler. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Road near Iva Road, Hemlock. Rev. Paul A. Hauser will officiate with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road near Gratiot Road, Saginaw, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Pardee Cancer Center, Midland, or his family.
