VERSE OF THE DAY

Had a crash of the computer, therefore the page wasnt updated the last few days. Today will be the last day for a few weeks that it will be updated as I am going on vaction. See the forum under Updates for the Read the Bible in a Year listings while I am gone. The verse of the day should update on its own.

It's time we all studied the Bible to its full extent rather then just what the church tells us to.

The 'Escape All These Things' link to the left will take you to a site where you can purchase a book titled Know the Future by Tim McHyde. The book details how to read and interpret prophecy. Once I started reading the bible properly, I was given the thurst for the Word and I think every one should have this thurst..

With this site I hope to help you understand the entire Bible. The more you understand, the easier it will be to spot the false prophets sent among us.

I have learned of a somewhat new thing called E-Sword. It allows you to veiw different translations of the bible at the same time. It took me a minute to compile this list:

John 3:16

(BBE) For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.

(ESV) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

(GNB) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

(ISV) "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his unique Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but have eternal life.

(KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(LITV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The playlist below is provided as a service of Yes.com and is NOT affiliated with True Revelations web site. If your browser is like mine, you will need to turn the mute off on the player to listen.

A few verses to live by.

John 5:44 (ESV) How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 6:27-29 (ESV) Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal." (28) Then they said to him, "What must we do, to be doing the works of God?" (29) Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."

John 14:12-15 (ESV) "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. (13) Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. (15) "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

John 15:12-13,17 (ESV) "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (17) These things I command you, so that you will love one another.

NIV Bible Verses

Job 34:1-4 (ESV) Then Elihu answered and said: (2) "Hear my words, you wise men, and give ear to me, you who know; (3) for the ear tests words as the palate tastes food. (4) Let us choose what is right; let us know among ourselves what is good.

Acts 17: 11 (NIV)— 11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they recieved the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

I encourage all readers to come and read my thoughts on passages as Elihu did in his day. I also want you all to do as the Bereans did and study the Scriptures to verify that I am correct and keep me in line with them.
Isa 29:13-14 (ESV) And the Lord said: "Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men, (14) therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden."

I believe most modern day church goers are who God is speaking to in this verse. I pray that any who read this site or my other site will stop honoring only with their lips and take God in their hearts. Reading and understanding the verses from John above will help you in this. To truely love everyone, including your enemies shows that God is in your heart and not just on your lips Sunday morning.
I understand that Jesus quoted this first verse when talking to the Pharisees, but no one said a prophecy can't be filled twice.
