On a beautiful early evening of July 6th, 2002, Rhett and Denise stepped out into our backyard and got married! We were joined by Anne, David, Mary Katharine and Sloan Jolly, Alan Bryson and Jules Childers, and Denise's parents Paul and Elaine Glover (who drove down from LaGrange, Ohio!) and Jim Pitts (who conducted the ceremony) and his wife Nancy. Alan prepared scrumptous appetizers and an exquisite meal. Among the things on the menu were a delicious cold butternut squash bisque and grilled shark with mango and fruit sauce. Mr. and Mrs. Bryson drove to Savannah, GA and spent a lovely and restful few days together. We've now returned to continue our life together and share with you our wonderful news.
