Caldwell
Please allow us to introduce
ourselves.
Jack Caldwell is a native of
the great state of Louisiana; that is, he's a Cajun. He's lived
there almost his entire life, including college (Centenary College
in Shreveport; Tulane in New Orleans). He is a professional economic
developer by trade, but a writer/cook who loves to travel and
play golf by avocation.
Barbara Caldwell was born in
Florida to parents from Wisconsin. She grew up in the Keys and
the Orlando area. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, she's
lived in Tennessee, California and Louisiana. She has designed
jewelry, traveled all over the world, and teaches others about
our Catholic faith.
Between the two of us we have
three wonderful sons: Jack Hewitt, Doug Caldwell, and Sean Hewitt.
Hurricane Katrina drove us
out of Louisiana to the wonders of the Dairy State, Wisconsin.
We now reside near West Bend, WI, about forty miles northwest
of Milwaukee, and 1,000 north of New Orleans.
However, you can take the Cajuns
out of Louisiana, but you can't take the Louisiana out of the
Cajuns. As we make our home here, it will be our pleasure to
bring a bit of our joie de vivre to this beautiful county
of the Kettle Moraine. So let's fire up the gumbo pot to go along
with that brat fry, cher!
