Short Squeeze

A romantic comedy about
love, investments and...gunplay(?),
set in a small Southern city during the early 1990s.
Years ago, when I was a stockbroker,
I wrote the majority of this, my only play, on a long week-end
visit to the Vicksburg Battlefield. I know, that's weird. But
you never know when the muse will strike. It's based upon real
events the took place during the stock market "crash"
of 1988, but played for laughs.
Playmakers Theatre of Covington,
LA held the World Premere of Short Squeeze on May 1, 1998.
To this day, it has not been performed anywhere else. Oh, well.
