To Heir Is Human, to Marry
is Another Story is
a map cap modern interpretation of Pride & Prejudice,
set in Southern California,
with some characters from JA’s other novels as well as some
guest appearances from orginal stories by the authors:
The Six-Pack:
Linnea Eileen (desertrat68); June (junewilliams);
Susan (fitzmadness); Shelby (Shelby); Meg (sparklymegz);
and Jack Caldwell (jvcla25).
We have had a great time brainstorming,
plotting, and being as creatively evil as we can be. The story
we are telling has a beginning, some great ideas for the middle
and the desired end. After reading what we have concocted, you
may think we downed a sixpack coming up with this romp (thus
the name of our merry band). There have a few new original characters
as well as some VERY different renditions of those JA characters
we love, loathe, and laugh at.
Do not expect any of us to adhere to canon or fanon, because
where's the fun in that?
The subject of fertility is
touched upon. Please do not think we are not mindful that this
can be a very delicate subject to some.
Some members of this writing group have struggled with this,
and we understand the despair and feeling of helplessness this
can bring. Our use of this issue is an innocent attempt at some
fun. We hope we do not offend anyone.
