My 350 rebuild Page

When I built the motor I didn't have a garage so I had to infer vise. I got some old
Garage Doors and bolted them together to make me a little shop. It was small but
It kept me out of the rain and more importantly it kept my new motor out of the
weather.

OK first I had to remove the old 307. here is what it looked like out of the car.
By the way anyone interested in a 307 Chevy small block? its real cheep
and it needs to be rebuilt. if interested E-Mail  me at the
Link Below. Anyway here are the pics.

Here is my 71 Nova without a motor.

Now that that was done I started the rebuild. I first had the new motor that I got
hot tanked and the heads redone at a machine shop. then I got all the stuff I needed
to rebuild it including a book called "How to rebuild your small block chevy" and started
rebuilding the 350. here are the pic of that in sequence.

This is after I put the crank in.

Now I have got the flat top pistons in place.

Ok now I've installed the lifters, and harmonic balicer.

Now for a little chrome touches. I installed a
chrome timing chain cover and oil pan.

Ok now for the heads, push rods and roller rockers.
Then a little chevy orange paint to Finnish her up.

Well here She is ready to put in my 1971 Chevy Nova SS.
Well all except for the intake and valve covers.

Now here it is the newly rebuilt 350 in my 1971 Chevy Nova SS.

Well there it is I hoped you enjoyed my pics and the gallery.
