We had a lot of fun on the island, even though it was so hot, sweat ran down our backs, fronts, and faces the whole time we were there! We wandered around at the International Bazaar, went swimming at the beach, and went horseback riding to the beach. Our guide took this picture of us on our horses:
My horse's name was Bo Jangles, Sandy's was Jenny. |
Sandy was so happy to be on a horse on a beach, it would be an injustice if I didn't include a picture of just her. |
We met a witch doctor who shrunk me just for kicks! wowee that was fun!

While we were waiting for the bus to take us to the ship, a guy named Rob played us a song on Sandy's guitar. For now, here's the picture, but I'll put the song up here, too, soon.

We made it back to Ft. Lauderdale without incident, other than me barfing over the side of the ship. I've learned that four hours is my limit on the ocean. Sandy sang a song about it while we were in the hotel in Fort Lauderdale that night.
Instead of going straight up to Orlando for our free night, we went south to the Everglades and then up to Orlando. The Everglades was really interesting; we enjoyed standing in the swamp.
