We didn't go on a trip in 1997 because I was broke! Our 1998 road trip didn't quite turn out as planned. We drove north to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, then south to just north of Detroit, across Canada to Niagara Falls, southeast to The Statue of Liberty, west to Indianapolis, then home. We had it all planned correctly, but didn't pay attention to time vs. distance, and ended up getting home two whole days early! The trip even started out on a bad note: after the first picture we took, the camera broke so Sandy had to buy a new one, which she returned when we got home and got hers fixed. Here's the only picture taken with Sandy's camera:

That night we camped... I don't know where we camped; in Michigan somewhere on the other side of the Four Mile Bridge. We got a hankerin' for Pizza Rolls, so we grilled some! They turned out great!

The next day we arrived at Niagara Falls. We decided to get a little daring and go over the falls in barrels on the Candian side.
