Fellow Karters,
Recent
developments at the Kettle regarding the new owners and
their development plans have convinced me that now is the
time to consider relocating Karting Kettle Racing to the
Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America. I have met with
George at RA and members of RAKC to start discussions for
merging the two race programs. Both are in agreement that
this good for local karting and now is the time to start
planning for the future.
All existing
classes will have a new home at Road America and weekday and
weekend schedules are being developed. Course layouts,
lighting, scoring and teching programs are being planned.
Spectator and concession programs are also being considered.
More information will become available in the near future.
After more
than ten years of involement with karting it is time to turn
it over to others. I hope to aid in the transition to the
Motorplex and will assist those who take over some of these
responsibilities. It has been very rewarding to watch the
growth of many young karters and I have had the pleasure of
making many new friends thru racing.
Thanks for
the Memories
Paul
