Before we go any further into the world of the Force, understand that while the teachings and philosophies of the Star Wars Universe hold common with those of this real world, they are in fact based on a story. Star Wars, while a wonderful experience, is simply a well crafted story by George Lucas, which has exploded into an ever expanding world. Authors such as Timothy Zahn and Allen Dean Foster, along with countless graphic novelists, video game developers, and countless faithful fans, have taken the original world brought to theaters in 1977, and expanded it in all possible directions.
