Hello to All who need to Get-A-Life-Soon

Regrets to those who didn't make it to our "Very Special" GALS Club Meeting last Friday night. It officially ended at dawn on Sunday. We principal members had to get together again Monday to clear up some of the fuzzy parts. Things we DO recall...

...Chinese for dinner, and later using the chopsticks to---catch flies,..as drumsticks,..hair decorations,..tepee frame.
...getting in free at our favorite bar to see our favorite band.
...the strobe-light room at the new multi-level club in town.
...somebody using somebody elses cellular phone to make frivolous/long distance calls when her back was turned. :-D
...the eyeball floating in the pitcher.
...blowing smoke rings.
...the much needed "Hair of the Dog" on Saturday.

Josh is a contender for "Most Likely to Succeed". His boss at Subway advanced him to making sandwiches after only 2 1/2 weeks of training. It usually takes THREE to graduate to that level. Hmmm, does that make him a sub-marine?

Pat received a care package from his Mom. Inside the box was one of those cloth thermal coolers (6 pack size). BUT...inside the cooler were a Thesaurus, a $50 bill, dried apricots, banana chips, hot cocoa, spicy peanuts and 2 granola bars.

OzarkLad is such a regular at SAM'S CLUB that he doesn't need to show his ID half the time. This week he bought a cordless phone that actually reaches all the way to the end of his property and still come in clear. Now he can walk to the mail box and not miss a single call!

Mindy's fingers got attached to the Super Glue from a pinhole in the tube. Using nail polish remover she was able to free herself easily enough, however, it ruined her manicure. So, of course, she had to fix THAT mess, making her late for class.

OzarkLad (what? again??) bought a new toy called TV on PC. Now he can watch a little television in the corner of his computer screen. Think of the hours saved by working on a spreadsheet and watching the Request Channel at the same time! EVERY office should have this.

CORRECTION---In the Sept. 16th newsletter it was reported that Philly fixed her curling iron with duct tape. It was Nikki who did that. BTW-she's still using it. (So give me back that $5)

HELP WANTED---Volunteer needed to record members' Birthdays and notify HQ when forthcoming. Experience preferred but not necessary.
