GALS Club Newsletter for Jan. 27, 1996

It has been reported to me that according to the Almanac, we are to get three major snow storms during the month of February. Thank goodness I have a bread machine and can make my own. I won't have to worry about the stores running out. I think this afternoon I'll go to SAM'S Club and get those little packs of mixes for it. While I'm there, I might as well buy a case of canned milk and powdered eggs. They'll keep. A case of toilet paper wouldn't hurt, either.

During the last couple of weeks of bad weather, I have unwittingly gathered the results of what could have been a poll...

WHAT HAVE PEOPLE BEEN DOING WHEN HOUSE OR APARTMENT BOUND?

1. The #1 activity is pacing. Back and forth...kitchen window; living room window; kitchen window; living room window; and so on.
2. Sighing, especially while looking out the window.
3. Waiting on the mail, whether snail or electronic. Even the junk was welcome.
4. Reading said junk mail.
5. Watching movies that were recorded two years ago.
6. Having sex.

Yep, the weather has certainly kept people from doing their Get A Life Soon stuff.

Nikki is back on schedule after a couple of weeks doing double shifts.

Pat noticed that all of the canned Corned Beef at the market were "A Product of Brazil".

Orndolff went away for a few days.

Josh is still waiting for the movie he ordered to arrive.

Dave still hates us.

Shirley has been unable to attend her TOPS meetings (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) because of the weather, thus, her diet has went *all to Hell*.

OzarkLad sat watching the guys put together an entertainment center. He saw that they lacked *one* Stooge to make a complete set. So (you guessed it) he joined in on the assembly.

CoffeyMate added to her wishbone collection.
