Welcome to Storybook Llamas

at Storybook Farm

The bucolic northwest hills of Connecticut are the perfect location for Storybook Farm.  Prize winning suri and silky fleeced llamas have been the main focus of the farm, but this year we've added to the farm's direction.

Our organically grown apple and pear trees, as well as our organic vegetables and flower gardens, are now pollinated with our own honeybees.  Along with our fruits and vegetables for sale, we expect to generate honey for sale this year too!  We are excited to offer it to those interested in the health benefits of local honey.

We've begun to add select heritage breeds of livestock to the farm menagerie.  The New England Livestock Alliance and the Heritage Breeds Conservancy work to save these breeds of livestock from extinction.  We've decided to begin our own conservancy by acquiring livestock from these rare breeds.  Recently added are Dominique chickens and in the near future Belted Galloway cattle.  Our Dominiques are free-ranged and are producing fabulous large brown eggs which we offer for sale.

Check back often to see what's new at the farm.
