Notes/Comments:
The following ship classes are all of the Avenger Group Class Configuration,
and are listed in chronological order of refit/upgrade: Avenger, Cyane,
Soyuz,
and Miranda. The Miranda Class does not have an official designation
because
they are used for multiple purposes as Medical Supply/Transport vessels
and
other Supply/Cargo vessels.
The following ship classes are all of the Constitution Group Class Heavy
Cruisers, and are listed in chronological order of refit/upgrade:
Constitution, Bonhomme Richard, Archenar, Enterprise, Constitution
(II),
Endeavor, Tikopai, and Enterprise (II).
The Excelsior Class' type of ship is disputed. The U.S.S. Ingram Blueprints
call it a `Space Control Ship', while the Jackill's Manual calls it
a `Heavy
Cruiser'. It is listed here as both because an Excelsior Class ship
can
certainly have multiple roles.
The following ship classes are all of the Gagarin Group Class and are
listed
in chronological order of refit/upgrade: Gagarin, Oberth. Like the
Miranda
Class, the Oberth Class does not have an official desigantion, and
is used
for Medical/Science Research and Transport.
The class listed for each ship is the final class that it was configured to.
The stardate of a ship's decommissioning/destruction is listed whenever
possible and the year is given in Terran years.
The commanding officer for each ship is the last commanding officer
of
that ship or the only name given on-screen.
All of Michael Okuda's information listed in his various published works
on
the original Star Trek through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
is not
recognized in this list.
