1. This Fandom ST Chronology (V12) is for the specific use
of Terran personnel
to familiarize themselves with the history of the United Federation
of Planets.
Unauthorized use or reproduction in part, without the written permission
of
Star Fleet or its planetary agents is prohibited. Complete
reproduction is,
however, granted, provided that all documents remain unaltered
and are not sold
for payment of any form (dollars, credits, gold-pressed latinum,
antimatter
etc.). Distribution is also forbidden on worlds where the
prohibition of the
Prime Directive is in full force.
2. Unlike previous commonly-available historic hardcopy references,
the Fandom
ST Chronology file endeavors to cover the Full spectrum of UFP
history spanning
over 30 Terran years of research including, though not restricted
to:
(a) audio/visual media (TOS, TAS, TMS,
TNG, DS9, V)
(b) hardcopy soft/hard cover references
(c) blueprints and manuals
(d) RPG materials (FASA, SFB);
3. Although not rated for intelligence data reliability, most
Chronology
entries are of Class A or B Reliability. Notable exceptions
being referenced
in the accompanying Notes. All entries are documented as
of stardate 9001.01
(V3) to discourage revisionist disinformation (viz: Okuda Stratagem)
and
encourage the Vulcan IDIC philosophy. However, this does
not exclude certain
entries from occurring within alternate/parallel timelines.
The reader is
directed to cross-reference the call-letter code of each entry.
To avoid
confusion, technical order (TO) number blocks, authentication stardates,
and
amendment codes have all be omitted.
4. Chronology upgrades are generated on an annual basis incorporating
all
available data releases (categories a-d inconclusive) of the past
solar year
as new data files become available through Star Fleet Command and
UFP member
worlds. They are available on this subspace frequency along
with related data
files (Security Levels 1 through 5 and Grades 1 through 3).
Live long and prosper.
