Mission:
The mission of KOLAGE is to foster an equitable work environment where GLBT employees can feel a sense of security and community within the Coca-Cola Corporation. This will enable GLBT employees to work free of fears and distractions, which in turn will allow them to focus on increasing shareowner value.
Vision:
KOLAGE envisions a global Coca-Cola system that ensures GLBT employees of their basic equal rights--A system where GLBT employees can be open, honest, and safe at work, at home, and in the community.
We strive for a system where associates can participate fully without fear of loss of opportunity--A system that allows GLBT employees full realization of their potential and equal participation in all aspects of corporate life.
Goals:
To foster a safe and supportive environment within The Coca-Cola Company for employees who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or their allies.
To provide a professional and social network to employees of The Coca-Cola Company.
To provide support and assistance to employees who wish to "come out" in the work place.
To serve as a resource to Coca-Cola management and other functional groups on GLBT issues.
To encourage and assist The Coca-Cola Company in its efforts to achieve greater market share among GLBT consumers.
To promote the participation of openly GLBT employees at company sponsored community service activities, and to support representation of The Coca-Cola Company at GLBT community activities and community service events.
To use our visibility as a tool to educate other Coca-Cola employees about GLBT issues.
To advocate for the business value of diversity within the workforce.
To work with other GLBT employee associations to enhance the overall image of GLBT employees within corporate culture.
To ensure that The Coca-Cola Company's policy and practice of hiring, training, and promoting the best-qualified individuals continues without regard to sexual orientation.
To promote understanding of the workplace-related concerns and sensitivities of GLBT people at The Coca-Cola Company.
