KOLAGE ESC statement regarding restructuring process

ON-GOING RESTRUCTURING at COCA-COLA

Due to recent and forthcoming changes in the workplace, the KOLAGE ESC (Executive Steering Committee) would like to know how our members will be affected.  These are sad and stressful times for us all, however, friends and contacts are very important.  We hope anyone affected by these changes will keep in touch.

The KOLAGE ESC will continue to function with few or no changes. Regardless of whether or not you will be with the Company, KOLAGE would like to welcome your participation in future social functions.

For updated distribution list purposes, please send an e-mail to David Beauchamp and let him know which category below best describes your position:  (please respond with the number most closely related to your situation)

  1. Left the Company between 1/26/00 and 2/14/00.
  2. Will be leaving the Company 2/15/00 through 09/30/00.
  3. Not sure if I'm staying or going, but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Also, if you will be leaving the Company and would like to remain on the distribution list, please e-mail David Beauchamp with your home e-mail address or call him at 404-676-7741.

KOLAGE NETWORKING/JOB CONTACTS

(A KOLAGE member has volunteered his services to help those who are being laid off. He is willing to assist KOLAGE members with networking...etc.)

The reorganization at Coca-Cola is affecting a lot of people.  I would like to offer my self as a networking contact for those people that are displaced.  I don't know if Kolage is doing anything special to help out members or even how many people are affected.

Please feel free to give out my email address to interested parties.  I have contacts all over the city and in many different functional areas.

It would be a good idea for them to give me an idea of what they are looking for...I have lots of contacts in International areas...but keep my "general network" up and running because one never knows when one will need a different job.

(Contact any member of the ESC for more the email address)

HRC SILENT AUCTION DETAILS

Every HRC Dinner also features a Silent Auction, which is a key part of the evening's fund raising efforts.  Out of all 30 HRC Dinners held last year, Atlanta?s Silent Auction was the most successful, raising over $53,500.  You can contribute to the success of this year?s event.

By contributing to the HRC Silent Auction, your organization has an outlet to showcase its products and services to an appreciative gay and lesbian audience.    Depending on the type of organization you work for, your company's merchandise, travel, visual art, meals and services are all excellent Silent Auction items.  Even tickets that your firm has to events such as an Evening at Chastain are coveted items at the Silent Auction.  Undoubtedly, those at the HRC Dinner and Silent Auction will remember the message that your business values their support.
