Fishing, Friends and Fireworks have been EXPLOSIVE over the 4th of July. Musky anglers are catching some nice fish with a 50 ½ Dandy Caught and Released on the Stevens Point Flowage along with a 49” Musky caught on a Fly-Rod, this may be a new line class record for Wisconsin. Walleye action continues to be Good with my Clients catching Legal and Slot Fish using 1/8 oz and 1/4oz Jig and Leech,Crawler presentation’s fishing early mornings in 10-12 feet of water on the Main Channel. Rock Humps and Wood are the key, BUT you have to go out early morning as the Recreation Boaters come out Boating around 10:00 am. My Clients and I also will concentrate on the Backwaters 7ft of Water and Less casting #5 Shallow Shad Raps, Black and White Spinnerbaits and Tube jigs are what’s catching all our Walleyes,Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass,Northerns,Catfish and Musky’s, fishing weed edges and Timber.
