Words Leave Tracks

                                      (Matthew 12:35-37;  II Timothy 4:1-5)

This I Believe That Words Are Things
And When They Are Spoken They Have Wings
That Carry Them To Hearts And Minds.
If Evil, False Or True And Kind

Each Word We Speak Contains A Thought
And By It Good Or Evil Wrought
It May Go To Some Remote Spot
To Leave A Blessing Or A Blot.

And Not A Word Can Be Called Back
For As They Go They Leave Their Tracks.
So Choose With Care The Words You Speak,
For From The Heart The Mouth Does Speak.

Those Secret Thoughts Your Very Own,
Will Come To Light And Be Made Known.
They'll Come To Light For All To See,
For As One Thinks, Then So Is He (Prov. 23:7).

If We Would All Clean Up Our Minds,
Our Words Would Then Be True And Kind.
Consider This Before Too Late
That Love Brings Love And Hate Brings Hate.
