Poetry is the medium that gives the soul wings and allows it to fly. I once heard it defined as "memorable prose...a mirror held to truth, then written down". All the poetry showcased on the Cafe Mindworks site is original, inspired and remains the sole property of the author(s) being used herein with their permission.
