In 1990 Mrs. Anderson was commissioned to paint an oil painting of author John Steinbeck's home in California . Her original oil is hanging in the home of  Thomas Steinbeck, son of John Steinbeck, one of the world's most read authors, Linda does portraits of people, capturing the realism and personality of her subjects.
