Ingredients
8 Tomatoes
3 Jalapenos
1/2 Onion
1/2 cup Cilantro
1 tbs Lime juice
1 tbs Cider vinegar
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp cayene powder
2 Garlic cloves
2 Serrano peppers (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedures
Dice the tomatoes, onion, Jalapeno's, and serrano's; put it in your bowl. Finely chop the cilantro and put in in the bowl. Finely chop the garlic or put it in a garlic press. Put in the limes juice, cider vinegar, and chili powder. Carefully mix the ingredients until they are all incorporated.
Put it in your fridge for at least 2 hours for the flavors to mingle.

Options
The options are limitless. What you are looking for is a tomato base, some flavoring agents, and a balance of acids and heat. When I make this I don't even bother to measure out the ingredients, I just combine them and it always comes out wonderful. If you like heat them add in more chili powder, cayene powder, and some habaneros. If you like more of a fruit taste then you can add in citrus like oranges or grapefruit juices instead of lemon. Add cubes of mango or pineapple for a tropical version.
If the salsa is too hot you just need to add carrots to the salsa and that will cool it down.
