Wolf Bayou

This one is located just North of the small town of Concord, AR. between Heber Springs and Batesville. It runs East directly opposite of Possum Walk Creek. First mile of the creek has the steepest rapids, but the remainder has some nice class II-III+ and awesome scenery. The creek runs through private land the entire length so please be respectful to the landowners. Special Thanks to Joel Thomas who lives in the area and provided lots of information regarding the creek and access.

Most of the flow goes to the right of the boulders and under the bluff.

In the photo #2 above, Scott is perched on the flat rock on the right side of the photo getting ready to run the left side of the drop below.

More than 50% of the flow goes to the river right side of the rock in the middle with very little head room. Below here, the current heads under the bluff again, but there is ample room to sneak by.
