In 2000, our group again and went on a trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. Good thing too, since a couple months later, the wild fires took their toll on parts of the river. Once again we made the most and paddled in Colorado, Idaho and Utah on the way out and back.

Once again we ran the Malad in Idaho. This year the upper was running a little lower, and the water quality was an awesome Caribbean blue. This is the last rapid before the dam. They showed up and started diverting the water, so we bombed down the lower section before the river went dry. Photos by Debbie Doss
