Miniprojecto: mi
árbol geneológico
Product: You will create a
poster depicting a simple family tree which adheres to the following
requirments:
- The poster must be at least
16X11 inches long (small poster size)
- Your family tree does not need
to be complete and need not include both sides of your family, but
should contain at least 10 individuals and 3 generations.
- the title across the top should
be 'mi árbol geneológico' and should have a NEATLY drawn
and labeled tree. NO pencil!
- You may use photos or
sketches/drawings for the family members, but at least three family
members should be with a clear photo above the name. The rest can
be drawn if you don't have photos.
- If you are uncomfortable using
your own family, you may invent a family. However, if you use any
celebrities, their
identities and photos must be pre-approved by the teacher.
Anything that is not classroom appropriate or that may offend is not
usable. Otherwise, just invent names and use magazine clippings
for the 3+ photos.
- In addition to the person's
name, you should include underneath their relationship to you (mi
tío, etc.), in Spanish, and at least two descriptive characteristics
(simpático, pelo largo). The more variety here, the higher
your score. See the handout for a sample of how this should look.
computer option: If you want to
use Word, or a family tree software program, you may do so, but all of
the above requirments still apply.
due date: May 21st. This will
be graded on a rubric scale:
1 = Some or all of above requirements exceeded. Excellent
work. (A)
2 = All requirements met. Good work. (B)
3 = Most but not all requirements met. Satisfactory work. (C)
4 = Some requirements missing. Passing but unsatisfactory
(D)
5 = incomplete/insufficient for credit/not done (F)
